Straigh thoughts 185 - Media bias

Under president Bush we had a media uproar about possible violations of human rights carried out by the president with the excuse of the war against terror, whether it was spying, searches or torture.

Now president Obama has topped Bush by asking the CIA to assassinate Anwar al-Awlaki, an American hiding in Yemen who is thought to be plotting terrorist attacks. Such action is directly against the US Constitution: “No person shall... be deprived of life, liberty or property without the due process of law.” (Fifth Amendment).

Where is the media uproar against president Obama? We heard from the media for months and months about water-boarding enemy combatants... but this assassination order does not even make the evening news?
Any doubts about media bias?
