Straight thoughts 98

The NDP (according to NDP MPP Michael Prue interviewed on TV Ontario) is in favour of selling hydroelectric power at cost. They recognize that maintaining artificially low prices is unworkable.

Ernie Eves has surpassed the NDP to the left, by imposing price controls on hydroelectric rates. The government also backtracked on its privatisation plans.
The show host asked the (rhetorical) question: What is "conservative" about this?
Michael Prue agreed: There is no difference between them and the Liberals.

The choice in the next election is between two parties "of the polls" with no direction, and two parties with clear, but divergent direction (The NDP and the Family Coalition party).

Which way to go is up to you.
